Shepherd's Pie

Comfort food at its finest. Use lamb for traditional flavor or beef for a "Cottage Pie" version.

Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • 1 cup peas and carrots, 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste, 1 cup broth
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes.

Instructions

  1. Cook meat and veggies. Stir in tomato paste and broth to make a thick gravy.
  2. Spread meat mixture in baking dish.
  3. Top with mashed potatoes. texture the top with a fork.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 20-25 mins until peaks are golden pieces.
