Homemade Mac and Cheese

Rich, creamy, and topped with a buttery crunch. This is the mac and cheese of your dreams.

Mac and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup flour, 4 cups milk
  • 4 cups shredded cheese (cheddar & gruyere mix)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs, 2 tbsp melted butter.

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta al dente. Drain.
  2. Melt butter, whisk in flour. Add milk and simmer until thick.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in cheese until smooth. Mix with pasta.
  4. Pour into baking dish. Top with buttery breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 mins until bubbly and golden.
