Cardamom & Pear Loaf

This loaf isn't too sweet, making it ideal for morning coffee. The cardamom adds a sophisticated warmth.

Pear Loaf

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe pears, diced
  • 2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp ground cardamom
  • 1/2 cup melted butter, 3/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Whisk flour, baking powder, and cardamom.
  2. Mix butter, honey, and eggs.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in pears.
  4. Bake in a loaf pan at 350°F for 50 mins.
